MCS-150 due date for USDOT numbers ending in 89
Short answer
If your USDOT number ends in 89, your MCS-150 biennial update is due by the end of September in even-numbered years. The next deadline is September 30, 2028.
Why
Under 49 CFR 390.19, the last digit of your USDOT number (9) sets the month: September. The next-to-last digit (8) is even, so you file in even-numbered years. The update is required every two years even if nothing changed, and filing directly with FMCSA is free.
